If I could get Apple's programmers to make one change, the first would be to bring back the handy method of choosing what application to open from a web address in email.
Used to be that if you wanted to change this, you option-clicked on the address, and a list of applications came up.
This is now gone, and I have no idea how to change the browser that is the automatic choice.
Others? What would you change?

I don't know about you guys but I have Windows/OS X and for the windows part I am falling in love with Opera it is the fastest browser for windows, in is small with tight coding and it doesn't use all your RAM. I hope this comes to mac if it does well that would be the ****

I know it's a pain, but if you sit through the .mac seminar at an apple store, they offer it to both new and existing customers for $69. That's what I've done for the past two years.

For one thing, we don't know where it's been. ;) :D
I meant I had been on better behavior recently (actually reporting stuff rather than dropping in a macro and running), and that that could be looked upon as "kissing up" to current admins. I didn't mean for people to kiss up to me :)

One tip I have for those clients who want to change absolutley every little detail... explain that you are happy to change it all for an extra fee, and you'll even offer a lower hourly rate since you're not being asked to do anything creative, but remind them that they will end up with a site designed by an amateur to their personal, individual taste, rather than the site designed by a professional and designed to appeal to their whole customer base that they've already paid for.

The logic remains problematic. It's like arguing that someone who was just in a car accident increased their chance of getting hurt by driving on the road in the first place. You are indeed blaming the victim.

The Burqua is worn to protect a woman's modesty and so they don't dress provocatively according to the standards of the country where the Burqua is worn.
Your views of what constitutes provocative dress is clearly less extreme than that but your opinion appears to be remarkably similar: "Women shouldn't dress provocatively."
It is wrong to make judgement of anyone based on how they are dressed: A woman (or man) may dress provocatively for a night out because they want to find a partner for the night or into the future. That doesn't mean they are an open door to any scumbag who thinks that they can violate them
The Burqa is as much about ownership as modesty, possibly more. Using a society where men buy their wives isn't a good comparison.

When you first create a folder, iOS assigns a name. You can change it if you like. I have folders for Utilities, News, Entertainment, Bookmarks, Photography etc. After adding apps to a folder I put them in alphabetical order.

Being a mod doesn't mean I can't still have a sense of humor, which is all I saw that as. No one's going to have a "battle of the 'tars", I'm just messin', which I'm still allowed to do from time to time you know...
